More specifically, are you in familiar territory when it comes to ensuring that procurement and contract awarding processes comply with the standards defined by both the company and public organizations?

Our client, a company well known in its field of activity, is looking for a colleague who, in addition to contract management of all tenders, will ensure compliance. Offering a range of benefits and a very competitive salary, our client offers software solutions to a specific industry.

Working very closely with the legal team, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of the documents submitted and supporting managers in the application of laws, regulations, directives in contract administration, particularly in the areas of public procurement, accountability, etc.

Among your responsibilities, you will be responsible in particular for the following:

  • Prepare various contracts and calls for tenders according to established standards;
  • Ensure the management and follow-up of contracts, calls for tenders, etc.
  • Write and negotiate contracts according to recognized procurement processes;
  • Ensure accountability according to the contractual rules in effect;
  • Implement various policies and procedures in terms of procurement and coordinate training;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Our client is looking for a consultant with the following skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, administration with a focus on procurement or logistics;
  • Treasury Board certification as secretary of the selection committee, a definite asset;
  • Good bilingualism (oral and written);
  • At least five (5) years of experience in procurement and contract management;
  • Experience in preparing contracts, calls for tenders, commercial agreements, etc..;
  • Strong interest in information technology;
  • Good knowledge of the OBCA.
