Have you been practicing labour law for a few years and are now contemplating a career in a large firm?

Our business partner, a nationally recognized law firm with an excellent reputation, is currently seeking a lawyer with approximately 2 to 7 years of experience in labour law to join its team of senior lawyers specialized in this area of law.

This is an opportunity for you to manage a diverse employment practice to suit a clientele made up of both provincial and federal employers. You will be called upon to advise and represent your clients on matters such as negotiations and interpretations of collective agreements, grievance arbitrations, labour relations, health and safety in the workplace, drafting employment contracts as well as corporate restructuring and company acquisitions.

Your negotiating and writing skills, strong determination and great autonomy will be your best allies to carry out your cases with confidence. Your litigation skills will also be solicited when representing your clients before the various civil and administrative tribunals.

Professional expectations:

  • Advocacy experience and at ease in court;
  • Bilingualism, written and spoken;
  • Autonomous with good writing and communication skills.
