Our client, an internationally renowned law firm, is looking for a Legal Assistant specialized in commercial trademarks to support its team of experienced professionals.

YOUR ROLE

As Legal Assistant specialized in Commercial Trademarks, you will support professionals in their case management as well as manage routine follow-ups required to appropriately registering commercial trademarks. Your responsibilities will specifically include:

  • Ensuring the conformity of admissibility letters as per publication notices;
  • Reviewing receipts of notice and sending them to clients;
  • Preparing diverse letters for clients and other stakeholders including letters listing the deadlines of client requests, etc.;
  • Reviewing registration and renewal certificates and forwarding them to clients;
  • Managing requests for cancellation of commercial trademarks with the relevant registrar.

PREREQUISITES

  • DVS in Secretarial Studies, or any other equivalent and relevant combination of education/experience;
  • Good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Organizational and priority-management skill;
  • Outstanding team spirit and interpersonal skills;
  • Discrete and professional;
  • Autonomous, enterprising, initiative-taker, efficient and detail-oriented.
