Our client, a dynamic and friendly company with an enviable reputation in the development, construction and management of major real estate projects, is currently looking for a bilingual legal counsel specialized in real estate law, more specifically in commercial leasing, to join its team of seasoned professionals. 

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various mandates related to the proper management of commercial leases. Among other tasks, he will draft, negotiate, update and coordinate commercial leases from a variety of stakeholders, while maintaining positive relationships with them.

On a daily basis, he will play a key role in the management of leasing activities, particularly in terms of renewals, assignments and subleases. To that end, he will also provide legal advice and leverage his expertise to deal with various legal issues.

Professional requirements:

  • Minimum of approximately 3-10 years of experience in real estate law, more specifically in commercial leasing; retail business experience is considered an asset;
  • Legal rigour and priority management;
  • Good writing skills;
  • Proficient in English.
